Your account still lives on Zoom's servers, still gets every feature update, and still works with the same desktop, mobile and web apps. What changes is the commercial layer. You are invoiced in INR at a fixed annual price, so there is no surprise from exchange-rate movement or international card charges. The invoice carries our GSTIN, your GSTIN and the correct SAC code, so your accountant can claim input tax credit without chasing a foreign receipt.

Support also changes. When a host cannot start a webinar ten minutes before a paid session, a global ticket queue is not useful. Our team handles first-line support on WhatsApp and phone during Indian business hours, and escalates to Zoom's partner channel when the issue is on their side. For schools and coaching institutes running back-to-back batches, that alone is usually the reason they move from a direct purchase to a reseller.

Most buyers only need to choose between two meeting plans. Zoom Pro allows meetings with up to 100 participants and a 30-hour limit per meeting, which covers almost every coaching batch, client call or internal review. Zoom Business raises the cap to 300 participants and adds company-level controls such as single sign-on and managed domains, so an admin can control every account on the company's email domain. Larger institutions and companies with an IT team typically go with Business.

Webinars are a separate add-on, not a feature of Pro or Business. A webinar licence gives you a host-and-attendee format where participants cannot unmute or share screens, plus registration pages, Q&A and attendee reports. If you run launch events, open houses or admission sessions for hundreds of people, you need a Webinar plan on top of a meeting licence. Step one is a short call or WhatsApp exchange to confirm how many hosts you need, whether you need webinar capacity, and whether you already have a Zoom account. If you have an existing free or paid account, we can usually attach the licence to it so you keep your meeting IDs, recordings and settings. If you are starting fresh, we create the account under your business email.

Step two is the proforma invoice. You pay in INR, share the UTR or payment screenshot, and we raise the tax invoice. Step three is provisioning. On a normal working day, licences are activated within hours of payment confirmation, and you receive a confirmation email from Zoom plus a short setup note from us covering admin settings, recording storage and security defaults such as waiting rooms and passcodes. For multi-user accounts we also walk the admin through adding and removing users.

A large share of our Zoom customers sell education online. Their pain points are specific: a batch of 150 students that will not fit in Pro, a free-webinar funnel that needs registration and attendee reports, and recordings that must be shared the same evening. The Zoom Coaches Plan and Smart Coach Webinar Plus bundle were priced for exactly this pattern, combining meeting capacity for cohorts with webinar capacity for lead-generation sessions.

Because we also build WhatsApp automation and run paid media, coaches often ask us to connect the pieces. A webinar registration can trigger a WhatsApp reminder sequence, and a Zoom attendance report can feed a follow-up campaign for people who registered but did not attend. None of this is required to buy a licence, but it is the reason many training businesses prefer a reseller who understands the funnel, not just the invoice.

Zoom licences are annual. We track your renewal date and remind you 30 days ahead with a fresh proforma, so a lapsed licence never cancels a scheduled class. Adding hosts mid-year is possible on a prorated basis, and quantity discounts are available for institutions buying multiple Business licences or a mix of meeting and webinar plans. Ask for a written quote if you need ten or more hosts.

For colleges and companies, we set up the admin console properly on day one: role-based admins, default recording location, meeting security, and reports so the management can see usage per host. This avoids the common situation where one departed employee held the only admin login and nobody can add a new teacher before the semester starts.
