How the work happens, week by week
Week 1 is discovery: a call, a look at competitors, a list of every page and enquiry path, then a sitemap and written proposal. Week 2 is design, with homepage and one inner-page mockups in Figma revised until you approve. Weeks 3 and 4 cover development on Next.js, content placement, image optimisation, forms, tracking and SEO basics. The final week is testing on real Android and iPhone devices, speed tuning and launch.
A 5 to 8 page site takes 3 to 5 weeks from the first call; a landing page takes 7 to 12 working days. The most common delay is waiting for content and photographs, so we ask for them in week 1 and can draft copy for you at an extra cost if needed.

Mistakes to avoid when hiring a web designer
Buying on the lowest quote without asking who controls the domain is the first mistake. We have taken over sites where the previous vendor owned the domain and demanded money to release it. Register the domain in your own GoDaddy, Hostinger or Google account and give the agency access, never the reverse.
Other errors: approving a design on a laptop when most visitors arrive on a phone, treating SEO as a post-launch add-on when URLs and headings must be decided before development, and accepting a site you cannot edit. If changing a phone number needs a call to the agency, updates stop within a month.
Ownership, hosting, security and support
You own everything. The domain sits in your account, the code is pushed to a GitHub repository under your organisation, and hosting runs on Vercel or AWS in an account opened with your email and card. We are collaborators who can be removed any day, and the agreement says so.
After launch we give 30 days of free bug fixes. Most clients then take an annual maintenance contract covering security updates, small content edits, uptime monitoring and speed checks. Hosting for a typical business site costs anywhere from nothing to about ₹1,700 a month, paid directly by you. HTTPS, form spam protection, rate limiting and dependency updates are part of every build.
